Ten participants in the previous two generations of the Slavko Ćuruvija Foundation’s School of Digital Journalism gathered for the first time last weekend for a joint workshop entitled “Online, video, photography and visualisation”.

Aldina Luinović (Prijepolje), Vanja Kolar (Subotica), Violeta Glišić (Kragujevac), Dragana Prica (Novi Sad), Dunja Stojković (Pančevo), Ivana Stojanović (Belgrade), Marija Vučić (Niš), Milena Dragović (Novi Sad), Tamara Milojević (Niš) i Filip Rudić (Belgrade) spent almost all day Saturday working with video-reporters Dušan Čavić and Dušan Šaponja, aka “Marka-žvaka”, learning about how online videos are made. They analysed different approaches and forms of online video, learning how to shoot and prepare footage.
Andrej Petrovski, from the SHARE Foundation, spoke about infographics and visual storytelling.
A presentation entitled “Introduction to Journalistic Online Photography” was held by photographer Luka Knežević-Strika, from the photo collective “Belgrade Raw”, while lawyer Miloš Stojković spoke about respecting copyright and how to avoid trouble in this regard.
This was the first of this year’s two alumni workshops with students of the Slavko Ćuruvija Foundation’s School of Digital Journalism.
